Eia Hopkinson is a London-based photographer and multidisciplinary artist, completing her MA in Commercial Photography at the University of the Arts London in 2025. Her work moves between fashion, editorial, and fine art, but always centres on the craft of image-making. Eia is drawn to the tension between chaos and control, construction and emotion, creating work that is refined, human, and subtly surreal.

Whether shooting campaigns, runways, or behind-the-scenes environments, Eia doesn’t just observe, she builds. Her imagery reveals the layers beneath beauty, while still celebrating its surface. Blending strong storytelling with a sensitivity to light, colour, and space, with pieces sitting somewhere between the real and the surreal - composed, but alive.

As a multidisciplinary maker, Eia often models in her own work and fabricates the world around it; sewing garments, designing sets, and hand-making props. This tactile approach creates a visual language that feels intimate, strange, and cinematic. At the heart of her practice is a love for collaboration and storytelling, especially within the fashion and commercial worlds, where photography, identity, and intent are merged.
